Tool is fantastic! However, I faced an issue when trying to backbore underneath the sidewalk with the 4 1/2-inch drill bit after using the 3-inch bit. This was because the area was mostly gravel. Despite this, I managed to hammer a 3-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe through to complete the task. I successfully bored underneath two sidewalks, but only had problems with one. The first one was a success and took about 10 minutes to complete! In summary, it works great on dirt, but not so well on gravel and is definitely worth the price if you don’t want to do concrete work!

Our area was hit by hurricane Helene shortly after receiving my Borit kit and due to storm damage, I haven't had time to even take it out of the case.

Great tool

We used BORIT to bore a 4" hole through the deep end of an inground vinyl swimming pool hopper wall for a drainage system to eliminate ground water so the liner will not float anymore. The reason for 4 stars is it state it can do a foot a minute, we did more like a foot every 20 minutes. It did work, and we were please with the results. I would recommend this product to anyone who asked.

The kit arrived quickly and looks good. The project that I bought it for has not started yet. I am looking forward to trying it out soon.

It is a straightforward tool to use. Minimum water is needed to lubricate the tunnel. Push the drill with a metal bar for three seconds at a time. It takes about a minute to tunnel a foot (in the Houston area).
