OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

Attach an appropriate battery that matches the battery adapter plate.

-Optional battery adapter plates are available as accessories.

If possible, the area to be pumped should be cleaned of debris to prevent pump intake from clogging. Attach the discharge hose and submerge the lower end of the pump. Direct the discharge hose away from the area to be pumped. Turn on the pump and continue to run until the area is cleared of liquid or the battery has discharged. With a 4Ah, fully charged battery, the pump can run continuously for up to one hour. The Pump Stick is capable of discharging liquids up to 12 feet above the level of the liquid. After use, flush with clean water before storage to prevent pump damage.
TIP:When pumping is complete, prevent liquid backflow by running the pump while removing the pump. Move the pump to an area where the liquid can be discharged, then turn off the pump to allow the remaining liquid to drain out.

Safety and Precautionary Instructions:

NEVER USE THE PUMP ON ANY FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS.
Never completely discharge the battery. Doing so will permanently damage the battery.
Only run the pump while submerged in water. Running the pump dry will damage the water seal on the motor.Always use a screen or filter on the inlet to protect the impeller from damage.
Never submerge switch housing in water.
